What you can expect from CITYSIB, and what we expect from you.

1. What CITYSIB is

CITYSIB is a discovery and planning product for New York City. We recommend places, help you time a night, and — when guide booking launches — connect you with independent local guides called Sibs.

CITYSIB is not a venue, a tour operator, a transport provider or a ticket seller. We do not control third-party venues and cannot guarantee entry, availability, pricing or hours.

2. Venue information

Venue listings describe real places and link to each venue’s own page with the date we last checked it. Hours, prices and access details change without notice, so they are guidance, not a guarantee. Always confirm with the venue before you travel.

3. Memberships and the Trip Pass

Monthly memberships (Explorer, Insider, SIB+) renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period.

The NYC Trip Pass is a one-time purchase granting Explorer-level access for 7 days from successful payment. It does not auto-renew.

Membership pays for curation, planning tools and access — never for a guide's time, tickets, food, drinks or transport.

4. Sibs are independent contractors

Sibs are independent contractors, not CITYSIB employees or agents. They set their own availability and rates and are responsible for their own licensing, insurance and tax obligations.

Paid sightseeing guiding in New York City requires a valid NYC DCWP Sightseeing Guide license. Guides must hold one to operate on CITYSIB.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use CITYSIB to harass anyone, misrepresent your identity or credentials, scrape our content at scale, or arrange payments off-platform to avoid fees or protections.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules or create risk for other users.

6. No guarantees

Recommendations are opinions. We give no warranty that a place will be open, safe, suitable, accessible or enjoyable for you. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CITYSIB is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of venues, guides or other third parties. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Questions go to our contact address, which is a placeholder in this build.
